Not a lot of new stuff. I’ve mostly been thinking about what the hypothetical rest of this movie would be like, in order to set some things up during the 2 minute opening. I had some ideas, that the lead singer begins to feel “too big” for the rest of the group, and this causes a rift in the band that is displayed on stage and in the recording booth as the group is somewhat falling apart. Them making up and performing again would probably be the climax of the film, with a huge concert that pushes them back into stardom.

I was also thinking about what the characters are like, specifically, so I can mold the dialogue a bit more. The guitarist is clumsy and a bit slower than the rest, but has the most soul for the band. The lead singer is kind of arrogant, somewhat obnoxious even from a young age. The drummer is the least talkative of the bunch, keeping to himself mostly, and the bassist is the jokester, cracking jokes and having the most fun during shows, sort of like Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
